Our Governing Council
Our Governing Council’s role is to make sure that Ephraim School fulfills it statutory role which governs the school in accordance with the terms of its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Our Council acts as a governing body and ensures that Ephraim School is managed effectively and efficiently by meeting regularly to determine the general policy of the School and to review its overall management and control.
And for this reason, it operates separately and independently but delegates the day to day management of the School to the Head and the Senior Management Team, comprising the Principal, Finance Director, Head of Departments, Facilities Manager, and other designated Senior Teachers.
The delegated officers likewise meet regularly and shortly before each meeting of the full Governing Council, specifically assignment delegated, educational standard and quality, budgets and annual accounts and reports.
Also, the council creates committees with delegated responsibilities in sensitive areas which include the Risk & Compliance Committee and the Governor Nomination & Selection Committee.
